We understand that every one of our clients has their own unique taste and lifestyle. So, our designs start with you. We assess both your vision and your functional needs to create a landscape design you’ll love.
We approach the design process with the goal of incorporating your taste, creating a design that is ideal for the characteristics of your space and accommodates your budget.
Communication and planning are just the start. Our professional, certified landscape designers are on-staff and available at all stages of the process.
We don’t just design, we also build. This means that we know what design features actually work and how to build them to stand the test of time.
After your initial contact, we follow up with a simple conversation that ensures that we are the right fit for each other. We will also ask you to complete our New Client Form, where you will answer questions about style and budget as well as upload inspirational photos. Ballpark design pricing is also discussed and, if we are all in agreement, an onsite design consultation will be set up with you.
At the in-person, on-site meeting, one of our expert designers will come to you to discuss your needs, wants and budget. Beginning an outdoor landscape project can feel overwhelming, but our team is as excited and committed as you are to realizing an outdoor space that fits you. We will listen to what you envision, get inspired, and also discuss any permits that are needed. Following this meeting, a Design Contract is sent to you for approval.
Once the Design Contract has been signed the design phase beings. This exciting process sees your ideas and vision become a plan we can execute!
Upon approval of the design proposal, property measurements, photos and grades are taken to make sure our designs will be accurate. By-laws, zoning, lot coverage, set backs are also researched. During this stage, the project starts to take shape as our design team begins to work out the vision using sketches and 2D software.
Once the 2D design is complete, a presentation meeting is scheduled so we can go over the features. At this time, you will receive a preliminary budget with numbers for the cost to build the project.
The 2D design is created upon receipt of 50% payment of the design contract.
Landscape design is a collaborative process. This means that the design will need to be refined and adjusted along the way. Your input at this stage is vital to the success of the final product. Two design revisions are included and presented for approval as needed.
A further 25% of design contract is due upon presentation of the 2D design.
We want you to be confident that your design will meet your expectations so, after the 2D design is approved by you, the drawing is then rendered into 3D images using the latest software. It is presented to you for approval. These renderings will give you a clearer view of the design and make it come to life!
The final 25% of design contract is due upon receiving the 3D renderings.
Once the design is finalized, we will give you a detailed estimate for review. Again, your feedback is important at this stage!
Adjustments will be made as necessary and your designer will review it with you.
Upon approval of the estimate, a Construction Contract is drawn up and signed. Then the building phase of your project can begin! A construction start date is scheduled with you.
Upon the signing of the construction contract a 25% deposit is due.
Good preparation is vital to the success of any project. Our team works to obtain permits, planning permissions, coordinate trades and also secure the necessary materials.
Let the transformation begin! Our team of professionals will work efficiently, doing our best to minimize disruption for you and your neighbours.
Upon the start of on site construction a further 35% of the construction contract is due. Progress invoices, based on work completed, will be issued through the rest of the project.

Voila! And just like that it’s done! A final walk-through is scheduled with your project manager. Once all items are completed and the balance is settled, you will be free to sit back, relax, and enjoy the outdoor space that you’ve always dreamed of. We can’t wait to make that happen for you!
The final balance is due upon completion of construction.
